About MONOCHROME Wiki
MONOCHROME Wiki is an independent player-run guide hub covering escape routes, all four key locations, the elevator code, monster avoidance, and every room.
Welcome to MONOCHROME Wiki
MONOCHROME is a grayscale horror escape-room on Roblox, created by @paramodal and first released on August 3, 2026. You wake up in a sealed room with the exit bolted shut. To get out, you have to move through an abandoned network of corridors, find four keys for the deadbolts and one code for the elevator — all while something watches you from the dark.
This wiki exists because that “something” kills a lot of first runs.
What We Cover
Every page here is written around the single goal the game gives you: get out alive. Concretely, that means:
- Escape routes — step-by-step walkthroughs for the full run, plus a faster route for repeat attempts.
- Keys — where all four keys hide, how to reach the last one, and what to do when a key will not spawn.
- The elevator code — the four-digit panel code, where to enter it, and why it is not a redeem code.
- The monster — its patrol behaviour, the sounds that warn you, and the hiding spots that actually work.
- Maps — every room and corridor, including the spawn area and the final elevator chamber.
- Endings and updates — what happens when you escape, plus a running log of patches and the announced second part.
Our Vision
Most Roblox horror games reward you for being fast. MONOCHROME rewards you for being quiet and observant. The level is nearly silent, the palette is stripped of colour, and the only thing that gives away a hiding spot is a single wrong move. Our goal is a guide set that matches that tone: precise, uncluttered, and honest about what is confirmed versus what is still rumoured.
We do not pad pages to hit a word count, and we do not publish a key location that we have not seen a player actually reach.
Community-Driven
This wiki is maintained by players, for players. Correction reports are welcome and expected — the game is in early development, the creator has stated that bugs are likely, and a second part is already in progress. Anything that changes in a patch gets updated here, with the check date shown on the page.
If you find a key spot that has moved, a hiding place that no longer works, or a route that is faster than ours, that is genuinely useful information. Send it in.
About the Team
We are a small group of Roblox horror players who have logged hundreds of hours across escape-room and liminal-space games. Every walkthrough on this site is built from recorded runs — ours, and the full playthrough videos linked on each guide page. When we show a route, it is because someone completed it and we watched the footage end to end.
Important Disclaimer
MONOCHROME Wiki is an unofficial, fan-made resource. We are not affiliated with @paramodal, with Roblox Corporation, or with any entity officially connected to the game. All game names, characters, and assets belong to their respective owners.
Specifically, please note:
- The elevator code published here is an observed in-game puzzle solution, not a promotional redeem code. Puzzle solutions can change between builds; always sanity-check them in your own run.
- Reported details about the announced second part are unconfirmed unless they come from the creator’s official channels.
- Community nicknames, including the name used for the monster, are fan terminology and not official lore.
